We are a happy, long-time married couple whose story began while traveling through Europe. Today, our life is a blend of our professional passions, Christy is a podiatrist and James is a software professional, and the simple joys of home.
You can usually find us gardening in the backyard, experimenting with a new recipe in the kitchen, or planning our next travel adventure.
Our path to parenthood has been a journey of resilience. We transferred an embryo just before the COVID-19 pandemic, and while that loss was heartbreaking, it only strengthened our resolve to become parents. Family is everything to us, and we are so ready to share our love and our home with a child.

Our story began nearly fifteen years ago against the backdrop of cobblestone streets and European sunsets. We met while exploring the world, and that sense of wonder and connection has defined our marriage ever since. Today, our lives are filled with laughter, the quiet companionship of our three beloved cats, and a deep, enduring love that has only grown stronger with time.

We have built a life rooted in stability, passion, and a shared love for the simple things. Christy is a dedicated podiatrist. Her days are spent helping others stay on their feet, a career that reflects her nurturing nature and attention to detail. James is a software professional who thrives on problem-solving and innovation. He’s the steady hand and the quick wit in our partnership.
When we aren't working, you’ll likely find us in the kitchen. We love the process of cooking together and experimenting with new recipes inspired by our travels or recreating the meals we first shared in Europe. Family is our North Star; our weekends are often spent surrounded by relatives, sharing stories and building memories that we are eager to pass down to a child of our own.
Our Path to Surrogacy
Our road to parenthood has been one of profound hope and quiet resilience. Just as the world began to change in early 2020, we took a monumental step and transferred an embryo. We were filled with anticipation, but as the COVID-19 pandemic shut the world down, we faced the heartbreak of a pregnancy that didn’t stay. Then, Christy was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia, a pre-cancer, and had to have a hysterectomy.
While that chapter was difficult, it didn't dim our desire to be parents; it only clarified how much we have to give. We have spent the intervening years strengthening our bond and preparing our home, and our hearts, for the family we know is meant to be.
